To request that monitoring of your store stop, email with the subject “Retailer opt-out” and identify your store domain. Requests are reviewed manually; we may ask for evidence that you represent the store. This is not an instant automated opt-out form.
What the bot reads
We read selected public product and collection JSON, and HTML pages where a separate reader is needed. We use product names, product identifiers, availability and purchase links to identify stock changes. We do not use this bot to sign in to customer accounts, add items to baskets or complete purchases.
Frequency and handling of failures
Configured check intervals are 30 seconds for seven priority Shopify readers, one minute for the restored standard group, two minutes for other standard Shopify readers and five minutes for the three heaviest catalogue readers: Rarewaves, Booghe and Yimbly. A check can require more than one HTTP request, including pagination or individual products. Actual timing can be longer because of response times, retailer waits and recovery pacing. Affected Shopify checks temporarily target two minutes during access recovery.
We retain previous confirmed stock when a read fails and respect retailer HTTP waiting periods. Our configured Shopify storefront readers check cached robots.txt rules before requesting each URL, including redirects, on every server route. Applicable crawl delays are shared across routes. A disallowed URL is not requested; if policy cannot be verified, the reader waits for a policy refresh. Paper Tiger uses an operator-approved exception for its public NeeDoh product search; this is not a claim of retailer permission. Other readers and browser extensions are outside this Shopify rollout.
Identity and Web Bot Auth
Configured Shopify GET requests on our Amsterdam route use Web Bot Auth. Backup routes are currently unsigned. Hosting this key directory is not a claim of Shopify higher-access approval or Cloudflare Verified Bot registration.

How information is shared
Selected retailer and product details, stock information and links are included in member notifications. Telegram and our email delivery provider process notification content. The data does not remain entirely within SquishSignal infrastructure.
